.Artspace Artists were delighted to participate in the project “Hearts for Hope” with Phoenix artist Christina Ure. This was part of the Brighton Festival 2022 ‘Our Space’ community arts programme.
The 5 tree ‘Hearts for Hope’ installation can be seen at The Manor Road Gym and we found them a joy to create.
Christina commented:
“They are a colourful rendition of the community’s creativity, using decorated spinning hearts and fluttering ribbons of hope.”
Artspace artist Suzi reflected that she found the process very “relaxing and therapeutic”.
