On Saturday 10th August, Artspace had a stall at BELTA’s Fun day. BELTA stands for Bristol Estate Leaseholders and Tenants Association. We rent the studio from them and so it’s good to get involved and engage with local people in our community.

There was a good response and lots of children took part. We organised face painting and badge making workshops and our members Suzi and Sean took the lead on this. Whilst the weather was a bit blustery a good time was had by all.

This couldn’t have happened without a huge effort from our Artspace members and the team behind the day itself.

Sean said:

“ I really enjoyed making badges with the children, they really got in to choosing their designs and loved the finished products. It felt great to give something back to the local community.”
